The Route of the Cares or divine throat, as well as he is known, it is the consequence of theCares river´s bed , determined to cross the mountains along the centuries.
It is a route of 12 km. to make on foot, among Cain (León) and Poncebos (Asturias) relaxing with the views of the landscapes. It is not necessary to be an experienced mountaineer to carry out it. It is only necessary to walk and to take an abundant photographic memory so that they believe us when we return... ...INCREDIBLE.
The problem to make this route is the return, that we have to walk in contrary sense the 12 kilometers again or to have a car that waits for us to carry out the long itinerary on road.
It is an extraordinary landscape where one can enjoy the nature and we think that it deserves to be seen.

Hi, this is a great post. I'm a geology major so I'm really into cool rock formations!
I've made some corrections below. It's generally well written so I hope you don't mind. Just trying to help :)

The last paragraph is perfect, so I haven't included it here.
Thanks for sharing this! Please let me know if there's any other cool geologic features near your town!

Hi guys! My name is Katie and I'm a 4th year student at MIT. Your post is really great! I am very into hiking, so this looks like something that I would really enjoy doing if I were there with you. Do you go on a lot of trips like these? Is hiking/mountaineering common for students there? Is it something that a lot of you enjoy doing?
Hi! I too enjoy hiking. I've only been backpacking in the US (mostly california). It would be very cool to experience some of Spain's trails! Thanks for the post.
